InfoWars To Be Renamed InfoPeace After Peace Agreement Signed

Folks, the vicious feud between President Trump and the fake news media has finally come to an end. After prolonged secret negotiations brokered by the Dalai Lama and international disarmament expert Claire Wardle the various warring factions have decided to burry the hatchet: Donald Trump, George Soros, the Illuminati, the owers of Comet Ping Pong Pizza, Alex Jones, Twitter, Facebook, the vast Right-Wing Conspiracy, CNN, the union of paid liberal trolls, NASA's chemtrail division, Cambridge Analytica, Snopes and even the Social Justice Warriors of America...

All of them were present this morning at a secret treaty signing ceremony held in the basement of the White House. The parties all agreed to cease hostilities and to treat each other with respect and dignity from now on, using only reasoned arguments and completely banning the use of alternative facts on the information battlefield.

To celebrate the signing of the treaty InfoWars host Alex Jones announced a rebranding to "InfoPeace" and he used the opportunity to promote his new food supplement "PeaceForce+" which is now available for just $29,99 in the InfoPeace webstore.

Yeah, no, that didn't really happen as you probably guessed by now.

If this is your first time visiting this website: welcome! Usually at Lead Stories we write exclusively about trending hoaxes, fake news and satirical stories that people confuse for real news. And we're quite fast about it too, often being the first site on the scene when fake news strikes. You can read more about how we work here.

But today is April Fools' day so we're letting our hair down a little. Instead of ruining other people's jokes we decided to write a few of our own on this special day. We do hope you enjoyed this little bit of satire (if you did, check out our other April Fools' stories). Tomorrow it is back to fact checking for us.
